Teaching Inclusion and Diversity
Rescued Rollers Educational Ambassador Laura and I had a great time meeting with almost 40 adults and students on a field trip in Mt. Gilead State Park to talk about diversity and inclusion. They were a fantastic group! The adults and the students asked tons of questions, and I love that! They saw first hand how capable Laura is, and we also talked about my blind and deaf pups. Laura had a blast, and you can tell by the smiles that everyone else did, too. 💕
I got this text message on our way home from the organizer of the field trip, Martha Wall:
“Thanks again for talking with our group and sharing Laura with us. It was a wonderful program and all the kids (and adults) loved getting to know your sweet pup.”
Thanks for having us, Martha. Laura and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Your group was one of the best ones we’ve spoken with for interacting with Laura and asking great questions. We love that!
This is just one way that Rescued Rollers – Wheelchairs for Dogs helps to raise awareness for these special pups.
