Local Dog Lovers Lend Paws
Rescued Rollers was featured in a full page article with photos in the Galion Town Money Saver.
An interview with Director John Lizotte highlighted the need for fosters, local support, and perhaps the need for a sanctuary. The Galion Money Saver is mailed to every household in the Galion zip code, a population of nearly 17,000.
The article included three photos. The picture at the top of the page shows Noel, John, and Rex. Rex was rescued from a shelter and was the dog who inspired the rescue and adoption program at Rescued Rollers. Read more about Rex here, here, and here.
The second picture is of Oreo, a puppy with rickets and nutritional concerns who came to Ohio from the Bahamas. The third picture shows Nola, a dog from Mississippi who requires a front wheelchair due to a birth defect. Nola’s family has been inspired to open their boarding facility to special needs dogs.
