Ellie had a rough start. She’s been paralyzed for some time. She escaped the backyard where she’d been kept and only fed now and then. She ran away from that rough life. Ellie landed in a vet’s office. The kind vet took care of her immediate health needs, but couldn’t keep her forever.

After a month at the vet’s, a rescuer pulled Ellie and contacted Rescued Rollers to see about getting a wheelchair. Rescued Rollers had a wheelchair in stock that would fit Ellie!

John & Noel drove to fit Ellie with her new chair, and she took to it like a champe!

But Ellie’s story doesn’t end there! The very next day, Ellie rode across Ohio and Pennsylvania to meet her new forever family! Ellie was adopted by Michael, a man with a generous heart, who also happens to use a wheelchair. What a perfect Cinderella ending!
