Announcing the ‘Otis Fund’ for Dogs in Rescue
Rescued Rollers is very proud to announce ‘The Otis Fund’, funding wheelchairs for dogs currently in rescue in the hopes of giving them the physical/therapeutic benefits of using a cart, as well as making them more adoptable.
This beautiful guy is Otis. His human parents, Darlene and Joel in Oregon, donated his wheelchair to us for another dog in need last week. They also included a donation that will enable us to give the gift of mobility to five more dogs in rescue! The Otis Fund was created in honor of his memory.
You now have several options to let us know how you’d like your donations put to work. Our ‘Cerberus Fund’ is used to supply wheelchairs to dogs still in shelters. The ‘Otis Fund’ will be used to supply wheelchairs to dogs in rescue. If you have a specific purpose in mind for your donation, just let us know in the “note or project” field when you make a donation. Donations without a specific purpose go into our general fund to be used where needed, and these offer us the most flexibility. Donations can be made by clicking the “Donate” button on our website or Facebook page, or by using our PayPal email: Donate@RescuedRollers.com .
Thank you Darlene, Joel , Otis, and everyone that supports us in helping the special needs dogs that need it the most. We couldn’t do this without you.
